Country Architectures
National digital health architectures are the most useful examples available, and the hardest to document accurately. Strategy documents describe intent; deployments diverge from them; and the gap between the two is rarely written down anywhere public.
Sourcing rules for this section
Because the risk of confidently describing systems that do not exist is high, every page in this section follows the same rules:
- Every claim carries a public source. Government publication, WHO or World Bank report, peer-reviewed paper, or an official system's own public documentation.
- Strategy is distinguished from deployment. "The roadmap specifies X" is not "X is in production".
- Unverified items are marked
Needs verificationrather than omitted or asserted. A visible gap is more useful than a confident guess. - Dates are given, because this material ages quickly.
- No architecture components are inferred. If a document does not say a country operates a client registry, this knowledge base does not say so either.

Not yet documented
Contributions are welcome for any country, subject to the sourcing rules above. Countries with substantial public documentation of their digital health architecture, and therefore good candidates, include Estonia, Rwanda, India, Kenya, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Brazil, Australia and the Netherlands.
Rather than list these with thin summaries, this section documents what can be sourced properly.
